Can I visit the BIMHUIS café and restaurant if I don't attend a concert?

For a concert unfortunately not, the restaurant is then only accessible with a ticket for the BIMHUIS or the Muziekgebouw. Reservations can be made here.
The café is freely accessible afterwards!

I have forgotten my login details for the BIMHUIS website. What now?

Go to the “account” page (via the icon at the top right of the web page). Click on “forgot password”. You will then receive an email with a new temporary password and further instructions.

I cannot create an account. How can I solve this?

There may already be an account with your email address. Go to the “account” page (via the icon at the top right of the web page). Click on “forgot password”. You will then receive an email with a new temporary password and further instructions. If you do not receive an email or if it still does not work, please contact us at info@bimhuis.nl

Do I have to pay transaction costs?

This is not necessary for payments with iDeal or the PodiumCadeaukaart. For payments with credit card and PayPal € 2.50 per transaction will be charged.

Something went wrong with my order / I'm having trouble ordering tickets. What should I do now?

Check your spam! Nothing there? Then the online transaction may take too long. If you have any problems, please contact our box office: kassa@bimhuis.nl, or + 31 20 788 2150.

Can I buy a seat?

At placed concerts, yes. You can choose a seat in the webshop, or let the system select the best spot.
For concerts that are not placed, you do not have a guarantee of a seat and it is simply best to arrive on time.

Can I still get tickets for a sold out concert?

Waiting numbers are usually distributed at the checkout from 18:30 hrs. At 20:00 hrs, the uncollected tickets are released. So there is still hope!

Are there discounts / discount passes for BIMHUIS?

Yes, the BIMHUIS card!

Can I make a reservation for a concert?

No, unfortunately not.

How do I get a ticket with my We Are Public subscription?

We Are Public members can make a reservation for selected concerts by sending an email with the date and name of the concert to wearepublic@bimhuis.nl. Reservations can be made up to 2 days in advance. Reserved tickets can be collected from the box office up to half an hour in advance.

What are the opening hours of the BIMHUIS?

The box office of the BIMHUIS is open on concert evenings from 18.30 until the end of the concert (approximately 23.00) and at afternoon concerts from one hour before the starting time. Please note that the box office is not open during free concerts and activities.

How can I make a reservation for the BIMHUIS restaurant?

You can make a reservation online.

Is the BIMHUIS accessible for disabled people?

Certainly, visitors with walking difficulties can contact us to reserve a seat (Mon-Fri 10 am-6pm, 020 788 2150).

Can I pay with cash and/or debit card at the BIMHUIS?

We are pin only, so you can only pay with pin or credit card.

Can my ticket be scanned from my smartphone?

Of course.

The concert has been rescheduled or canceled, what should I do?

If a concert is rescheduled or canceled, we will announce this immediately via the website and inform ticket buyers. If you have bought tickets for a rescheduled or canceled concert and you have not yet been contacted by us, please contact our box office: + 31 20 788 2150 / kassa@bimhuis.nl. If concerts are rescheduled or canceled, you will receive a refund or a replacement ticket.

I am prevented, what now?

Unfortunately, purchased tickets cannot be exchanged or taken back. Take a look at ticketswap!

Can my children come to the BIMHUIS?

Of course, you can’t start early enough. Special rates apply to children per concert. To be assured of a place, we recommend that you make a reservation for these reduction tickets via kassa@bimhuis.nl. These discounts apply to all concerts organized by the BIMHUIS in the BIMHUIS with the exception of youth concerts

Is there a cloakroom in the BIMHUIS?

Yes, there is a free and unsupervised cloakroom. BIMHUIS is not liable for loss, damage or theft.

Can I park at the BIMHUIS?

There is parking in the Piet Hein garage, located directly below the BIMHUIS.

Can I bring my photo camera?

It is not allowed to photograph during concerts without permission from the BIMHUIS. Photographers can report to the BIMHUIS, preferably well in advance via press@bimhuis.nl. Rules regarding photography can be found in our house rules.
