REFLEX

Alistair Payne received an invitation from BIMHUIS to write new work for REFLEX, a concert series in which musicians presents their view on the spirit of the times. The trumpet player collaborated with renowned poet Tongo Eisen-Martin. Payne has used his lyrics, rhythms, and energy as a starting point for composition. You also hear influences from Arvö Part and Madlib, alternating with experiments in (a)tonality and silence. This special evening has been documented on a live album, released on BIMHUIS Records.

REFLEX is supported by Ammodo.
