Django Amsterdam’s family concert on Saturday afternoon is a staple for parents, children and everyone who likes music and stories. This year you can expect the most interactive edition in the history of Django Amsterdam. The show revolves around the heart-swinging violin playing of Tim Kliphuis, who’s also a gifted storyteller. He will be accompanied by his trio.

Django Amsterdam is dedicated to the birthday of guitar legend Django Reinhardt (1910-1953). His style of acoustic swing jazz became part of Roma and Sinti culture. Django is generally considered one of the greatest guitar players of all time. On Friday and Saturday the concerts on our stage will be complemented with sessions and performances at the café.
