International Jazz Platform Amsterdam Edition 2025
Are you a young musician? Apply now and join in on special seminars, workshops and panel discussions.
INTL – International Jazz Platform is a combination of a festival with ground-breaking concerts, a conference with workshops and meetings for representatives of the industry. Musicians and professionals share experiences and support each other, both during formal sessions and informal meetings. Since many years International Jazz Platform takes place in Poland and Norway and now it’s our turn. During this special edition we’re joining forces with the Better Live project and we’ll focus on sustainability in the live music sector.
For this new adventure we are looking for 20 young musicians that want to participate in this three day event from 14-16 May 2025. This means following special seminars, workshops and panel discussions, and working and creating music with three top representatives of the European improvised music scene and our mentors: Gard Nilssen (drums), Greetje Bijma (vocals) or Otis Sandsjö (tenor sax). Participants will have a chance to play, be a part of a band, perform their own compositions and talk about music with these great musicians.
