In lichem fol beloften (A body filled with promises) is the title of the new album by Arnold de Boer AKA Zea, also known as the singer-guitarist in The Ex. The Frisian language album is full of songs and poetry. For this occasion, the band is expaqnded to a foursone with cello, clarinet and drums. And on stage as well, Zea is supported by the sixteen-piece drum band Hallelujah Makkum. In this band, the seven year-old Arnold started his musical career. Hallelujah Makkum has been around for 125 years.

Zea XL will take you along on a cadence of drums and strings, in a minimalistic trance playing with time and physicality. Arnold de Boer proves how powerful and eccentric language can be. Not only with his original works, but also with Frisian translations and poems by the likes of M. Vasalis and Nelly Sachs. Speial guests at this concert include poets Annelie Davids and Mischa Andriessen, cellist and vocalist Sanem Kalfa, drummer Michelle Samba and pianist Oscar Jan Hoogland.
