Johannes Bergion cello, David Werthén bass
The cello sound of Johannes Bergion has been the sound determiner of the Swedish avant-garde metal and cult band Diablo Swing Orchestra from the very beginning (2003). The band has made four masterful albums so far, each time renewing itself musically. If the cellist of such a band is going to form his own duo with a double bass buddy, then that is interesting in advance.
Von Thord belongs on CELLOFEST. Jazz, avant-garde, rock, metal… this music is difficult to capture. It is certainly unique.
