Palestinian brothers Samir, Wissam and Adnan Joubran descend from four generations of oud builders and players. As Le Trio Joubran they are widely praised for their seemingly telepathic interplay: lyrical, virtuosic oud music in which three voices sound as one. They have worked with Brian Eno and Coldplay, among others.

Alongside traditional repertoire the brothers play their own compositions and film music from their catalogue. The cinematic, narrative quality of their music led to collaborations with directors such as Majid Majidi, Julian Schnabel and Karim Dridi, and earned them the Grand Prix de la Semaine de la Critique at the Cannes Film Festival. For this concert the trio is joined by cello and percussion.
