Kit Downes – ‘Dreamlife of Debris’
Kit Downes piano, Tom Challenger sax, Lucy Railton cello, Phelan Burgoyne drums
Kit Downes’ ECM album Obsidian was highly praised. Now there is a sequel: Dreamlife of Derbis. The album builds on previous core ideas, but where Obsidian was almost exclusively a solo church organ album, Downes now places the organ in a broader context. In addition, he also makes room for the piano in the larger compositional whole.
Kit Downes previously performed at the BIMHUIS with the band Enemy, and played here with Reinier Baas and Ben van Gelder.
Please note: this concert is rescheduled from November 5, 2020. Previously bought tickets stay valid.
