Hoe Liefde Danst brings seventeen Brazilian classics to life in Dutch, with an extensive live band of eleven vocalists and seven musicians. Famke Sinninghe Damsté translated these classics by, among others, Antonio Carlos Jobim and Ivan Lins, which were then arranged by Roeland Jacobs and Hans Vroomans.

The result is a poetic album full of gems from the timeless Brazilian songbook, united by a single theme: love. Performed by some of the finest names in the Dutch jazz scene, with vocalists including Fay Claassen, Lílian Vieira, Anna Serierse, Lo van Gorp and Esther Van Hees.
