Django Festival is dedicated to gypsy jazz icon Django Reinhardt. Saturday afternoon is for all ages, with Benjamin Herman and Christiaan van Hemert.
Young listeners can become acquainted with the music and culture of Django Reinhardt and ‘the gypsies’ in Django Amsterdam’s special afternoon for the whole family. Saxophonist Benjamin Herman, one of the best known jazz musicians in The Netherlands, has a great affinity with Django’s music. He forms a quartet with three greats of Dutch gypsy jazz.
