Deadeye ft. Reinier Baas, Kit Downes & Jonas Burgwinkel

Deadeye is far from your average guitar, drums and Hammond organ trio. Guitarist Reinier Baas, organist Kit Downes and drummer Jonas Burgwinkel have been exploring the boundaries of jazz, rock, folk and 20th-century classical music for years, and now present their latest album In Orbit.

Reinier Baas has built an idiosyncratic body of work, from a ‘mostly instrumental opera’ to Edison award-winning albums, and has worked with orchestras such as Metropole Orkest and WDR Big Band. British pianist and organist Kit Downes has been honored with a BBC Jazz Award, nominated for the Mercury Prize and tours internationally as an ECM soloist. German drummer Jonas Burgwinkel has played on more than 80 albums, received the ECHO Jazz Award and shared the stage with icons such as John Scofield, Chris Potter and Lee Konitz.
