Bill Laurance, known from Snarky Puppy among others, reveals his most personal side on his new solo project Lumen. Alone at the grand piano, he explores the space between composition and improvisation. Recorded in the intimate acoustics of a London church, the music moves between meditative and adventurous: from impressionistic and serene to playful and groove-driven.

The versatile pianist, composer and bandleader is also active in his duo with Michael League, his own trio, and orchestral projects such as Bloom with The Untold Orchestra. With this new album Lumen, he marks a new chapter in his distinguished career.
