In 1974, saxophonist Hans Dulfer, wind player Willem Breuker and pianist Misha Mengelberg were looking for a place to give Dutch jazz its own stage; the BIMHUIS was born. We still carry that thought today; new formations among local standouts, album presentations or concert premieres, this is the place for the latest homegrown jazz.
