Omer Klein & the Poetics

With Omer Klein & the Poetics, the pianist and composer explores the many creative facets of his musical universe. This six-piece ensemble brings together some of Europe’s finest musicians, creating a colorful mix of keyboards, bass, percussion and horns. Klein’s signature grooves, captivating melodies and adventurous harmonies shine through in his new compositions for this group, infused with his recent passion for the musical worlds of Brazil and West-Africa.

His work moves fluidly between jazz, classical and world music, from intimate solo performances to grand orchestral projects. As Artist in Residence at the Alte Oper Frankfurt (2024/2025), he presents this new project, further expanding his musical universe. With ten albums to his name, including five on Warner Music, and accolades such as the ECHO Jazz Award and nominations for the Deutscher Jazzpreis, Omer Klein stands out as one of the most versatile pianists of his generation.
