Django Reinhardt (1910 – 1953) is one of the greatest guitarists of all time. In the 1930’s, he developed a music style of his own: swing/jazz manouche or hot club de France ‘hotclub jazz’. On January 23 the legend would have celebrated his 117th birthday. To honor this, major international and Dutch names come together at the BIMHUIS during Django Amsterdam.
