Top players come together for this edition of Django Amsterdam. A festival in honor of Django Reinhardt.
Django Reinhardt (1910 – 1953) is one of the greatest guitarists of all time. In the 1930’s, he developed a music style of his own: gypsy jazz, swing/jazz manouche or hot club de France ‘hotclub jazz’. On January 23 the legend would have celebrated his 116th birthday. To honor this, major international and Dutch names come together at the BIMHUIS during Django Amsterdam.
