YURI HONING WIRED PARADISE

After fifteen years of acoustic music and collaborations with legendary soloists such as Pat Metheny, Paul Bley and Misha Mengelberg, saxophonist Yuri Honing concentrates on electric jazz with his band Wired Paradise. The group radiates fun and excitement, with references to Hollywood films such as Kill Bill and The Usual Suspects, rounded out with daring interpretations of compositions like Wild is the Wind. The grooves are beefed up by guitarists Frank Mobus (Der Rote Bereich) and Stef van Es.
