YURI HONING ACOUSTIC QUARTET

Saxophone player Yuri Honing sees jazz as a language open to influences from all over the map. He works with pop singers, orchestras, dance producers and masters of Arabic music. He regularly returns to acoustic jazz. He started his career in Michiel Borstlap’s quartet and won an Edison for his collaboration with Paul Bley.
