Vernon Reid has a great fascination for jazz punk, rock and hip-hop. The band Living Colour, with whom he scored major chart successes, worked with Public Enemy. Now the New York guitarist improvises with, amongst others, turntablist DJ Logic and human beatbox Taylor McFerrin, the son of scat genius Bobby McFerrin. The Yohimbe Brothers convey political commentary in contagious grooves, cross-pollinating rap with jazz, rock and Latin.
