XLJAZZ 2007 FUNK-N-FUSION

Buitenkunst organizes workshops in the field of arts for amateurs and semi-professionals. the extremely extended jazz orchestra XLJAZZ takes this further. Led by Joost Dieho the students work on a new theme every year. This time it will be jazz rock and fusion. The repertoire is varied with works of a.o. Miles Davis, Billy Cobham, Chick Corea, Herbie Hancock, Tania Maria, Joe Zawinul, Jaco Pastorius and Marcus Miller. Special guests: Martin Gort (percussie) en Miguel Martinez (alt/sopraansaxofoon).
