DJ PHIL JAZZ LOST AND FOUND
Dance till late on hidden treasures & crazy grooves in vintage music.
Since many years, Buitenkunst has been organizing workshops for amateurs and semi professionals. The extremely extended orchestra XLJAZZ takes it a step further. Together with professional soloists and arranger Binkhorst they revive the Birth of the Cool orchestrations -created by Gil Evans, John Lewis, Gerry Mulligan en John Carisi for the Miles Davis Nonet- with laptop grooves, solo contributions of Carlo de Wijs on the Hammond B3 and the images of veejay van Moorst.
