Workshop 45 Years!

The Bimhuis workshop is legendary among both beginning as well as advanced adventurous musicians. Many improvisers learned to play here for the first time without fixed schedules by trusting their ears and agility to set a strong story in collaboration with others. For 45 years the workshop has been free and open for everyone. At the same time the quality is high: virtuosity is of less importance then personality. It’s not about the amount of notes you play, it’s about what you do with them…
