Wollo’s World is a platform for constantly shifting settings of improvisors, initiated by trombone wizard Wolter Wierbos. For this concert he invited the Cologne grandmaster on the piano, Simon Nabotov who, with his staggering virtuosity and encyclopaedic knowledge of styles, rose the Bimhuis to fever pitch on various occasions. Wierbos brings him in touch with bass player Wilbert de Joode and tap-dancer (!) Marije Nie.
