WOLLO’S WORLD

Since 2006 trombone player Wolter Wierbos and his partner Fieke Broekhuizen have been hosting concerts on their houseboat on the river Amstel near Carré. At these gigs ‘Wollo’ mostly plays duos and trios with well-known musicians from the international improvisation scene. Tonight he presents the CD Deining, which contains recordings of the first concert series. Like the CD, this evening features guitarist Franky Douglas, double bassist Wolter Wierbos and ICP members Ab Baars, Mary Oliver and Han Bennink.
