WILLIAM PARKER QUARTET & RAINING ON THE MOON

The American bass player William Parker represents the no-compromise avant-garde in jazz. The CD ‘O’Neal’s Porch’ (2002), debut album of his quartet with unsurpassed drummer Hamid Drake, was elected as ‘Top 10 Best Jazz Albums of the Year’ by The New York Times, JazzTimes and DownBeat. This springtime Parker tours Europe with two different groups, with his own quartet and Raining On The Moon, featuring the same musicians plus vocalist Leena Conquest in a completely different repertoire.
