The Bimhuis is more than a music venue; it houses the excellent restaurant of chef Edwin Takens, as well as a sophisticated selection of affordable quality wines. Previous sold out wine afternoons only serve to prove that wine and jazz go together well. It is high time for a new edition, during which five importers will present a choice selection of 70 wines. These small, but fine importers bring their wines straight from the growers. Some of the Bimhuis restaurant’s own top wines will also be available for tasting. The wine tasting afternoon will be followed by a concert by the Denise Jannah Quartet: an excellent combination. The concert starts at 17:00. Combined tickets are available for € 20.
