Zony Mash & Horns is a jazz-funk explosion led by a central figure of the Downtown scene, Wayne Horvitz. The keyboardist in John Zorn’s trail-blazing hardcore-jazz ensemble Naked City currently lives in Seattle. Here he met up with guitar hero Timothy Young and founded the group Zony Mash, which has severely expanded recently.
