Psychedelic rock, electronics and jazz resound in the music of the trio The Nexus. In his quirky solo performance Oren Marshall makes virtuoso manoeuvres on his bass tuba. With the help of electronic effects he can sound like a guitar player à la Jimi Hendrix. Violinist and singer Carla Kihlstedt creates highly eccentric music, full of strange folk-like songs, as well as stories and poetry.
