VPROJazzLive
For his project A Dutch View on Fish flute player Mark Alban Lotz has created unpredictable, adventurous music full of humour and grooves, inspired by the work of famous deep sea film maker Jacques Cousteau. ‘Fresh, entertaining and uplifting music’ (All About Jazz).
Minimalist, virtuoso, contemporary, abstract and rhythmically complex: these adjectives are often used to describe the music of American piano and keyboard player Craig Taborn. He has played with several groups including those of Chris Potter, Dave Douglas and James Carter. Tonight he will perform solo.
