B-oost, a festival with the subtitle ‘fresh sounds and images from the Amsterdam Easter Harbour area’ (Amsterdams Oostelijk havengebied), organises a Bimhuis evening filled with surprising ingredients. Vera OEne and the Rest (VOER) present their first album. Voer stands for a crossover of steaming grooves, original pop songs, exotic beats, expressive jazz solos and organic electronics. One moment Voer makes you feel like dancing and then brings you moments of peace. The occasion of the release of their first CD puts B-oost together with Voer and the French artist collective Luminocinetique that is doing its Dutch debut with its spectacular projections.
