This special edition connects two generations of electronically oriented producers. Since 1997 Finnish pioneer Vladislav Delay has been creating spine-tingling clouds of noise and intricately fragmented beats. London based boy-girl-duo Hype Williams lays a smoke screen with hypnotic samples of dated R&B and soul. With a new album on Hyperdub this ‘hyp-hop’ (The Wire) comfortably settles in alongside the post-dubstep of Kode9 and Burial.
