Whether it’s jazz, classical music, rock, Thelonious Monk or Nine Inch Nails: Vincent Peirani blends it all together. The French accordionist likes to venture into unexplored territories with Jokers. Like the joker, who can turn up in different roles and guises, each of these three virtuosos can become a soloist, a rhythmist, a colorist, and so on. Together they incorporate different kinds of music from all over the world.

Vincent Peirani reached the French jazz top by accompanying celebrated players such as Michel Portal, Daniel Humair and Louis Sclavis. His own trio Jokers features Italian jazz guitarist Federico Casagrande and Israeli drummer Ziv Ravitz. The latter previously performed with us in various formations, for example with saxophone legend Lee Konitz, and with younger band leaders such as Linda Oh, Omer Klein and Shai Maestro.
