Trio San Francisco is named after a bar on the Amsterdam Zeedijk where the three saxophonists once payed their bill by doing an illustrious concert. This night time story led to the CD Prisoners of Pleasure. After that, Daniele D’Agaro returned to Italy, Sean Bergin developed his own band MOB into one of the most powerful Dutch jazz orchestras and Tobias Delius’ characteristic sound has been internationally acknowledged. Last year they did a successful concert during the Groningse ZomerJazzFietsTour (Groningen Summer Jazz Bicycle Tour) and now they’ll do a short tour in Noord-Holland.
