To mark the occasion of the annual Dutch Book Week guitarist Corrie van Binsbergen traditionally invites well-known Dutch writers to the Bimhuis stage. Main guests are Kees van Kooten, who wrote the free book week novel based on this year’s central theme: golden times, black pages, and Toon Tellegen, who will be accompanied by Van Binsbergen’s quintet, showcasing a new performance. Based on one of Tellegen’s animal stories, it will also be presented as a CD book. Additionally, Remco Campert will read a number of poems and ‘Three Al’s’ will perform: writer A.L. Snijders plus ‘The Two Al’s’, pianist Albert van Veenendaal and percussionist Alan Purves.
