TONY SCHERR/ROB JOST/ANTON FIER

Tony Scherr is known for playing bass with Sex Mob and Bill Frisell and as a sideman to Willie Nelson and Norah Jones. Not so well known outside New York are his qualities as guitarist and singer-songwriter. With his trio he plays songs in the vein of Neil Young and The Rolling Stones, with a fair dose of improvisation. NY Times describes him as ‘a singer-songwriter of deep and palpable conviction’. Drummer Anton Fier was a member of The Feelies and The Lounge Lizards.
