Guitarist Tony Scherr is probably mainly known as bassist of Sex Mob and with the most recent trio of Bill Frisell. Not so well known outside New York are his qualities as guitarist and singer songwriter. Scherr once started out as a guitarist in a garage band. In the 80’s he landed in the NY downtown scene through Bill Frisell and John Lurie. Guest soloist is Hermine Deurloo, with whom Scherr worked together a lot and recorded a CD.
