Swedish pianist Martin Tingvall has a knack for writing bright melodies that sound like they have been around for years. The irresistable grooves give away the rock and hip hop background of drummer Jürgen Spiegel and reveal the Cuban descent of double bass player Omar Rodriguez Calvo, who has performed at the Bimhuis with Ramón Valle.
