TINEKE POSTMA, ALAN SKIDMORE, BENJAMIN HERMAN & REIN DE GRAAFF TRIO

Alto Madness is one great bop and jazz party with three marvelous alto saxophonists. Peter King represents the best Britain has produced when it comes to saxophone players. His straight ahead jazz is counterbalanced by the contemporary, fresh solos of Tineke Postma. Benjamin is the perfect link, as attested to by the fact that he has collaborated with everyone from poets to rappers and from Candy Dulfer to Misha Mengelberg. They will be accompanied by the trio of pianist Rein de Graaff, who has been a bebop authority in the Netherlands since the 1950s.
