A Tin Men & The Telephone performance is unique experience, incorporating audio, video and social media. Everyday sounds of smartphones, callcenters and car traffic become part of the music. Band leader Tony Roe uses his piano keys to send tweets and Facebook messages. With his two mates he mixes jazz, hip-hop, balkan and modern classical music. The three young Amsterdam-based musicians have already released an album in the form of an app and now they have Tinmendo, an app with which the audience can influence the concert. This is for people who want something new to hear and see, because for Tin Men & The Telephone music and images go hand in hand.
