Flamenco dancer Joaquín Grilo communicates with his feet. On stage they become fully fledged percussion instruments. At the previous Flamenco Biennale he met Theodossi Spassov, the unrivaled master of the kaval, the Bulgarian shepherd flute. The flute player is a storyteller with a unique personal style that incorporates Balkan music, classical and jazz. With this concert Grilo, Spassov and their guests demonstrate the rich worldwide heritage of the flamenco art form.
