Once again, The Ploctones will charge full steam ahead. The band founded by guitarist Anton Goudsmit plays jazz with a raw rock-‘n’-roll feel, full of blistering grooves and irresistible rhythms. On their new album Ploc the four men show increasingly more subtlety in their music.
In the past years The Ploctones grew into ‘one of the most exciting live acts in Dutch jazz’ (de Volkskrant). Martijn , Efraïm, Jeroen en Anton have played in this formation for almost a decade and the party’s still going strong. Following their motto ‘everything goes!’ they keep on amazing everybody with inventive playing and clever ideas.
The Bimhuis restaurant
is open prior to the concert from 6.30 til 8.30PM (reservations via
020-7882158). After the concert, the Bimhuis Café is open (free
entrance).
