After more than twenty years The Klezmatics have definitively outgrown the underground circuit; they were the first klezmer band ever to win a Grammy. Despite this the six New York musicians have never compromised their style. They still blend Yiddish party music with the widest range of elements, such as Arab, African and Latin rhythms, Balkan music, jazz and punk.
