The Baylor Project is led by the married couple of Marcus Baylor and Jean Baylor. Marcus played drums for years with the world-famous Yellowjackets while Jean worked with artists such as Kenny Garrett and Marcus Miller. Together they started a project full of jazz, gospel, soul and blues called The Baylor Project, where they are both composers, arrangers and producers.

Their debut record The Journey immediately received two Grammy nominations, and their wonderful second album Generations was also excellently received with a No. 1 position on the JazzWeek Radio charts as best Jazz Vocal Album. They are just as great live, where the songs really shine and you as an audience feel like you are in a church in Louisiana. The Baylor Project promises a feel-good evening of top shelf gospel and jazz.
