TEMKO is the group of the Gaudeamus Award-winner, guitarist and composer Aart Strootman. In order to be able to carry out the pure mood of Shri Camel without a synthesizer, TEMKO has developed special instruments. Riley himself thinks it’s great: “It is an honor that TEMKO starts working with Shri Camel.” In 2015, the Minimal Music Festival was all about Terry Riley and he spent five days as guest of honour at the Muziekgebouw.
