Vocalist Tatyana Kalmykova (Moskou) and pianist Alexei Levin (St. Petersburg) present a new electro-acoustic crossover, based on Russian vocal tradition. Kalmykova acquired her musical knowledge during her long journeys in the spacious former Soviet countries under which the country of Tuva. Levin, mainly known by his group VEDAKI (Vershki Da Koreshki), has been concentrating on integration of electronics in his music. Special guests are VJ Artem Sokolov (live video streaming) and the Senegalese vocalist Mola Sylla, with whom Levin works in VEDAKI on a regular basis. A concert between tradition and renewal, roots and improvisation.
