Several times already the Taksim Trio has sent the Bimhuis audience into ecstasy. These three famous virtuosos of Turkish music join forces in breathtaking ‘taksims’, improvisations containing aspects of Ottoman classical music, Anatolian gipsy music, blues, raga and flamenco. ‘The improvisations veer between melancholy and eerie beauty… these three musicians are fabulous at listening to each other and are on the same level with their timing, intonation and dynamics’ (het Parool).
The Bimhuis restaurant is open prior to the concert from 6.30 til 8.30PM (reservations via 020-7882158). After the concert, the Bimhuis Café is open (free entrance).
