There are plenty of irresistible grooves to be found in West African music, but not often are they raised to higher grounds with as much fantasy as this trio does. Two Senegalese top percussionists play with one of the grand masters of Dutch improvised music who also uses his cello as a rhythm guitar or a bass. The intense singing of Mola Sylla never ceases to touch the listener.
