It remains an unlikely success story: the German-Dutch night on liberation day, where Dutch glamour and German perfectionism come together under the direction of ‘glamour animal’ and ‘homme fatale’ Sven Ratzke, ‘the enfant terrible of showbiz’ (de Volkskrant). The singer/comedian, who was born in a sports car on the German-Dutch border, ‘shows us the way to the next Fifth of May’. He welcomes a selection of international artists, who will transform the Bimhuis stage into a glittering music hall. This edition features a special performance by famous German rock diva Nina Hagen.
