SUSANA BACA

Susana Baca is one of the great voices of Latin America. Her big international break came with the compilation album ‘The Soul of Black Peru’ that David Byrne produced for his Luaka Bop label. Since then she became very much at home with the Afro Peruvian repertoire consisting of timeless, healing ‘songs of love, loss and life’, also to be found on her latest album Travesias. Her European tour brings her to the Bimhuis for the first time and this will be her only concert in the Netherlands. A unique chance to hear this diva in an intimate setting.
