The final performance of a series of four concerts (three at the Bimhuis and one in the Tropentheater) performed by the two most important groups of the Karnatic Lab, het Axyz Ensemble and the Spinifex Orchestra. Amsterdam composer Samuel Vriezen collaborated with the Axyz Ensemble in a program revolving around the theme ‘unconducted music for a large ensemble’ with compositions by Martijn Voorvelt, John Cage and a new original piece by Vriezen himself. The Spinifex Orchestra plays highlights out of the repertoire of the whole season.

Celebrating jazz since 1974
