Pianist Soo Cho explicitly tones down the high testosterone levels of her young male colleagues. Dutch daily NRC praises her ‘sensitive, delicate jazz music, in which she effectively makes use of space and time’. The Korean born artist has been playing piano since a very young age. After she discovered jazz, she moved to The Netherlands to study this music. Tonight, she will perform with the Italian-Argentinean saxophonist Javier Girotto, whose playing is strongly influenced by the melancholy of the tango.
